Privacy Policy

Evergreen Academy ("we", "the school") respects the privacy of students, parents and staff. This policy explains what we collect through the school website and mobile apps, and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Student details: name, date of birth, class, admission number, photograph and academic records.
• Parent / guardian details: name, phone number, e-mail address, occupation and address.
• Fee payments: amount, date and payment reference. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment partner and are never stored by the school.
• App usage data such as device type and notification tokens, used only to deliver notifications.

How we use it

• Admissions, attendance, examinations, report cards and certificates.
• Sending circulars, fee reminders, homework and emergency alerts.
• Meeting legal and board (CBSE/State Board) reporting requirements.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Information is shared only with service providers who help us run the school (hosting, SMS / e-mail delivery, payment processing) and with authorities when the law requires it.

Retention and security

Records are kept for as long as the student is enrolled and afterwards as required by education regulations. Access is limited to authorised staff and protected with passwords and encrypted connections.
